FOREVER 21 AMSTERDAM

FOREVER FASHION First of all I want to wish you guys a happy Easter weekend! Hope you will enjoy your free time with lots of love. For now I have a very special post to share with you. Today was the grand opening from Forever 21 in Amsterdam. This is the very first shop in Holland from this great American store. The closets one was in Antwerp but every Dutch fashionista can’t be more happy to finally shop the items in our capital city!

I went to the grand opening with my cousin and we had so much fun together. There were so many people (actually it was overcrowded and there were queues everywhere..) and everyone was loving shopping today. Some great new shorts here and some statement jewelry there. The jewelry is definitely one of my favorites by the way, their collection just makes me just so greedy! The coolest thing in my opinion is that you can shop every kind of style, in every color and for every opportunity. You can go for a daily outfit, the perfect festival look, some sexy lingerie or some sport stuff. 

If you're in Amsterdam, or are planning a trip, you really should visit this gigantic store at the Rokin - Kalverstraat. I am sure you won't leave without a yellow Forever 21 bag! ;)

MAKE A WISH

MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE Hi loves! Like I promised, here are the photos from last Friday at the fashionshow with 'Make A Wish'. I have already told you everything about it last week and I'm so excited to share the photos with you! For me this night was a great experience and I believe it was the same for everyone else. The ladies who organised the whole event did such an amazing job! The place, the decor, the drinks and of course all those amazing dresses! Really like a dream! I was one of the models for that night and I felt like a princess in those creations. Especially when I was wearing the green one, I even felt more special than a princess. Maybe more mermaid like haha. What dresses can do for the feeling of a woman ;P.

Anyway, the event was great and I enjoyed walking the show so much! My make-up for that night was a little... hmm.. extreme. I didn't even recognized myself when I looked in the mirrors! You all know that I always wear more natural make-up so this was a huge change for me. But for the show it was really fun!

Besides that everyone really liked the evening, they also did an amazing job for 'Make A Wish'. They collect an amazing amount to help the charity with making dreams come true. NYENRODE GALA

THE GREAT GATSBY So, like I promised, here are the photos from the gala we had before I went to Frankfurt. The gala was organized from the school where Paul studies and the theme of the night was from the movie 'The Great Gatbsy'. Since I had to read the book and have seen both movies when I was in London I know everything about the story and that time period. (I really hated it by the way. I've never had read such a depressing story.. And sorry, I din't like the movies as well, the 1974 nor the 2013 film was good I think). Besides I don't like the story, I do loved the styles and that was exactly what it was about this night. Wearing feathers in my hair and and on my clutch bag while glitters everywhere on my dress was fantastic, I loved it! The dress I was wearing I ordered last minute at MyTheresa, it's from Alice+Olivia and I love it soooo much! Besides you can wear it on a gala like this, it's also perfect with some sandals in summer. A real investment piece I can say so. 

I really have to say that everyone was looking marvelous. All the girls dressed up so beautiful and the boys did look so good in suits. Same for my Paul by the way and I have to admit that what they always say is so true. You can't resist a man in a suit! Like you can see in the photos my eyes were almost heart-shaped haha. But back to the night. After a delicious dinner, Paul and I started dancing all of the time. That's why I had to remove my hair accessories by the end of the night, (so like you see in the last photo) which was a shame but so much more comfortable. That night they had a DJ but meanwhile there was a saxophonist which was a really awesome combination. That's why we could't stop dancing I think. But when we danced all night long, also my feeds did hurt a lot. So around 2 am we were done with partying and had the best sleep ever in this beautiful castle the Bilderberg in Venlo where we were staying at. The next day we woke up early and I went to Frankfurt like I told you before. So, this was the beginning of the weekend what made the story I've already told you complete! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY My dearest readers, with all of my heart I wish you the happiest Valentine's day ever! I hope you can be with your beloved ones and have some real quality time together! You may all know that every year I make a special post for this day. Normally I am alone in these specials because I never had a Valentine. Except from now because I have my Valentine since May and I'm so incredibly happy and thankful I can share this day full of love with the love of my life. That's why I thought it would be so fun and nice to do this special together. We enjoyed shooting this post so much and besides that we almost laughed all of the time the photos succeeded very well I think. This is just how Paul and I are, crazy and crazy in love. 

Besides that you may not have a boyfriend or husband to share this day with I'm sure you can enjoy this day. Go out with your best friend and make fun together! And hey, believe me as a hopeless romanticus, there is always someone waiting there for you and even though you haven't met him yet, that day will come! I've always thought I would be alone forever, and look at me now haha! I've fallen in love so badly and I wish you all the same too! Because in life, there isn't something better than real love. Also the real love from your family and friends. Don't forget that! :)

ALL THE BEST FOR 2014!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! One year has passed by and this 2013 was a big year for me. I went to the most beautiful places in Europe but we started this year in Malaysia. I graduated to my fashion study TMO and went to London for three months to improve and study my English. Also Floortjeloves is becoming bigger and bigger. I never had so many emails to answer every week and I'm trying to plan my time the best way I can to make my blog to a huge succes, and I'm on my way! But besides all these beautiful things that made 2013 sublime(!) there is one more..  This April I met Paul, the love of my life. I have never been so happy and in love with someone and I hope we can share the rest of our lives together. So, that's the main reason why he is featured in this special post, because 2014 will be the best year ever and we will share it together! We will make all our dreams come true!

I hope you loved reading Floortjeloves this year and I can't wait to share more for 2014! In this little overview of last year I also want to thank you for making this year so great for me. I can't be more grateful to have you as my followers. You all make me so happy by sharing and saying all those lovely things, every day again.
