RED ON RED

SKATER SKIRT AND WARM KNIT You may have seen this skirt a few times but it still belongs to one of my favorites. In this post I show you that you can wear it a more casual way than the party- (here) and chic-look (here) I showed you before. You can also see how nice it can be to combine the same color but in a different tone together, ton sur ton ;). Today I organized a new garage sale which will start in a few hours. I was hanging all the stuff on color and size and then I found this beautiful old but gold sweater from Escada. Why was it in the box to sell??! So, besides I want to sell everything, this item stays mine. And look how cool it is with my skirt! Add a little black and gold for the contrast and your look is ready to go. Oh and by the way, the skirt is still in sale now for less than $25 so it's totally a purchase worth it! See it on Choies.com!

Like I said, I have my garage sale today. It starts at 6 until 9 pm. I hope it will be such a success like last summer or maybe even better! How great would it be to sell all my old stuff! It's really easy to organize your own one. You can do it with friends or with your family like I did, I do it together with my mom. So my friends are coming but hers as well! Then you need a place, the name already says that it is a garage sale so the place doesn't have to look like a ballroom. Just add some colorful stuff and flowers and it's cozy enough. The most important part is selling so, you need stuff like clothes, shoes, bags and everything else you don't use anymore! And last but not least, an invitation! I made mine though Facebook and it works perfectly. You can see how many people are coming and you can place updates daily to make the people curious. It's a really fun job to do and it cleans your closet so much so maybe you have to think about it some day. Well, I hope mine will be a success again! I'll tell you it in tomorrow's post. And if you ever decide to do your own I hope my tips were helpful! :)

I was wearing:
Skirt: Choies
Sweater: Escada (vintage)
Boots: Zara

Make-up:
Lipstick: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine No. 57
Nail Polish: Dior No. 615
